Vendée boasts a number of great theme parks including Le Puy du Fou, voted best theme park in the world in 2013, Le Château des Aventuriers and Indian Forest on the theme of Fort Boyard.
The cycle route between Jard-sur-Mer and L’Aiguillon-sur-Mer. 28km of tracks run through marsh and woodland and along the coast. Along the way you can visit Georges Clémenceau’s house and garden and the Pointe d’Arçay and Pointe de l'Aiguillon headlands.
Head out for France’s “Green Venice” and explore the canals and rivers of the Marais Poitevin.
