An ideal destination for nature lovers, the delightful countryside of the surrounding Oust Valley can be explored from the water by canoe or on foot by taking the numerous sign-posted walks through the beautiful Île aux Pies (Magpie Island) nature reserve.

Learn the mysteries and secrets of the Pays de Redon on a guided visit of Guémené-Penfao in a horse and carriage (1½ hours or full day). The botanical gardens at La Gacilly (35 km).
Visit to cider-making farm in Saint Charles. Guided tour of Gue?mene?-Penfao in horse-drawn carriage (1 hour 30 minutes, or day with picnic). Visit to Yves Rocher gardens and laboratory in La Gacilly, 30 km.
