Welcome to Sandra & Cyril Pacaud
Come and see the splendours of the Camargue.
Come and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Camargue at our friendly, family campsite. Explore this fascinating region with its varied landscapes and places of interest. Located between the two Roman towns of Nîmes and Arles, Le Mas de Mourgues is also ideally placed in the heart of the Camargue for the beaches of Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer and Le Grau-du-Roi and close to Aigues-Mortes, an old fortified village surrounded by salt marshes.

At the foot of the ramparts at Aigues-Mortes, close to its bustling pedestrian streets, extends the oldest salt marsh in the Mediterranean, now a protected area (26 km).
The "Course Camarguaise" and other bull-related traditions: abrivado, bandido. Visit to a Camargue bull farm.
Visit Le Grau-du-Roi/Port Camargue, Europe’s premier marina, with its fishing village and the wild beach of L’Espiguette. A seaside resort not to be missed (33 km).
Departing from the village of Gallician passing by orchads and vines up to the Pont des Tourradons, view over the Carmargue countryside. Continue towards Vauvert and return to Gallician by the "voie verte" (green cycle path).
From Gallician to Saintes-Maries- de-la-Mer, crossing the Petit Rhône. River via Sauvage car ferry, then seaside stroll. Return via the route d’Arles to admire the Flamingos.
Located on the edge of the Camargue, Le Mas de Mourgues lies amid the vineyards of the AOC Costières de Nîmes. Sandra and Cyril will be only too pleased to offer their advice on the local chateaux, many of which – including the Clos des Américains – offer fascinating guided tours and tastings. And why go home empty-handed when the campsite shop offers a wide range of excellent wines?
