A haven of green on the Cabellou Peninsula, across the water from Concarneau and its Ville Close and nestling in one of the most picturesque bays in Brittany, the campsite boasts direct access to the beach and port and a lagoon pool. An ideal location for sea fishing and the time-honoured tradition of gleaning fish and seafood from the beach, you can also hire a sea canoe direct from the campsite or take a cruise on the River Odet. Stunning sea views including the Glénan Archipelago.

Take a drive down the coast towards Pont-Aven, once the haunt of Gaugin and other artists, then continue to Riec sur Belon to sample the famous flat oysters. The “Festival de Cornouaille”, a celebration of Breton culture, in Quimper every July.
The “i?les Gle?nan”; departure by boat from Concarneau in July and August or from Be?nodet outside this period.
The walled town of Concarneau 2 km from the campsite. Explore its fascinating past or take a stroll and do some window shopping.
The GR 34, known as the "sentier des douanier" (Customs officer trail). 19 km of trails along the coast, overlooking the sea, the rocks or jagged coast... The Three Valleys (7 km): walking (1hr30) or mountain-biking (1hr on average) Wooded and semi-urban landscapes throughout the walk.
Follow the coast to Pont Aven, the city of painters. Gauguin stayed three times in the Jeanne Gloanec guest house. Continue towards Riec /Belon to visit the oyster farms and savour the famous oysters of Belon.
Le Cabellou Plage offers direct access to the nearby La Belle Etoile beach, 400 metres of fine sand where you can try your hand at a host of water sports activities. The site provides kayak and stand-up paddle board rental for beginners and old hands alike and the chance to spend a fun-packed day with all the family. The kids will love it!
